Let's Get Physical

Safety, Safety, Safety! Your safety is something that is very important to Janice and I! So, today's post is going to be simply about getting you informed on how you can be safe with information.

FIRST OFF: There can be both male and female recruiters. This means that the cute couple who approached you for a full-time waitress position, or told you that you had the perfect bone structure to be a model, could in fact have other plans for you.

I don't want to make you panic, but be smart. If a stranger approaches you, use WISDOM. Also if you really want to check the place out bring a friend with you, like a male, or your dad. And if on your way there you start getting funny feelings about the place, your gut could potentially be telling you something.

Be smart and use wisdom. That is something that is very important over all.

SECONDLY: There are stories of women who, when their new boss offered to take them to work, and they accepted, the boss actually took them to a hotel to perform sex acts for other men.

THIRDLY: Recruiters have the ability to be very manipulating. Making you feel bad, and like you owe them. Some men may help women and younger girls with certain things, but in return they force them to commit sexual acts with other men, so they can get "paid back." They wont tell you that of course, but that is their plan from the start of the relationship.

LASTLY: Recruiters and people like them have patience. They will wait. Either, till you are worn down or they know they have total power over you. Sexual Exploitation is a fast growing industry. They know they will in time be paid back for the wait. They're in it til the end.

Please remember that if a boyfriend, husband, friend, or anyone else is making you or someone you know have sex with others for their profit. THAT IS NOT RIGHT!

We hope that this has helped you get more informed about how to be aware on keeping yourself safe. In the future we will have more posts and stories of how others and ourselves are doing things to keep everyone safe! If you have any tips as well, please email us and let us know them (askmeaboutsextrafficking@gmail.com)! We want to hear from you!

Enjoy your day and keep safe!
Nicole
